Our Built in Cupboards |

So what makes our built in cupboards so great. Well firstly we don't build the base upon which the cupboards rests with chipboard. We use pvc adjustable legs that either come in sizes of 100mm or 150mm lengths. Companies like the Kitchen Specialist Association have made these pvc legs a standard. We also don't use cheap hinges on our doors as a bedroom cupboard doors are very long and heavy. Instead we use Ferrari, Blum and Mepla hinges. These cabinet door hinges carry far more weight and last much longer. What most cabinet makers don't know is that there are actually 3 holes which are used to fix the cabinet hinge do the cupboard carcass. The main two holes are obvious but the 3rd hole is actually in the middle of the hinge plate( the part of the hinge that is fixed onto the carcass ). We use all three holes to fix the cabinet hinge to the bult in cupboards sides. Our bedroom cupboard doors come standard with 2mm impact edging unless otherwise requested by our clients. 2mm high impact edging is far more durable than pvc edging and also looks beautiful. Some cabinet makers will try sell you normal pvc carcass edging to edge your built in cupboards doors with because it's cheaper. Remember that you want your cabinet doors to be durable specially if you've just bought a flat and want to rent it out to tenants with kids. Don't try save money on the hinges or on the edging of the doors as these are the two main parts of the built in cupboard that takes the most strain. |

The bedroom cupboards we built for one of our clients here has highgloss wrap doors and panels with a stainless steel bar handle. In the picture above on the right you can see just how glossy the door is by the handle reflecting off it. The high gloss wrap we used here is white but we also do black and other other colors. |
Benefits of high-gloss wrap doors 1. Not as Unforgiving as Duco high-gloss spray ( Doesn't scratch as easy ) 2. Costs much less than high-gloss duco 3. Turn around time is 2 weeks instead of 4 weeks |
| You can never have enough diy bedroom cupboards in your room. Diy Bedroom cupboards should normally have more hanging space than shelves but that differs from person to person. Make sure you design your cupboards to include a dresser. When the cupboard is for a female there should be more hanging and more shelving for a male. Our Diy bedroom cupboards have been designed with design software. This enables us to give you a photo realistic picture of the cabinets we designed. Our diy kitchen and bedroom cupboards are fitted with 150mm plastic adjustable unit feet to level your cupboards. These legs might look weak but they can carry allot of weight. Each leg can carry a weight of over 150kg and we use four for every cabinet we manufacture. All our diy kitchen cabinets come standard with these legs and can be knocked in very easily by hand to set in place. All our bedroom cabinets also come standard with the stainless steel bar handle which leaves a very modern look in the bedroom. Other handles can be supplied on clients request. |
